GOLive with Helena – Richmond Heritage Federal Credit Union Interview (Mrs. Helen Menefield)

The Richmond Heritage Federal Credit Union was founded in 1936 by ten educators who saw a need to provide a level of quality and personal service not offered at traditional financial institutions.

It was a pleasure interviewing Helen Menefield, first employee at the Richmond Heritage Federal Credit Union first location on 2nd street.  Wilbert French “Skip” Foster was her former supervisor, listen to her story

Located at: 50 West Commerce Road, Richmond, VA 23224
Randy Cooper, President/CEO of current location.

  1. Mrs. Menefield taught me everything I needed to know about Richmond Teachers Federal Credit Union. It was a pleasure working side by side with you for so many years 1987-1996. Mr. Foster (Skip) taught me everything regarding credit union matters. Thank you for allowing me to serve as Vice-President before entering Richmond Public Schools.
