My Journey
1. My New Orleans Roots
I was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, a city rich in culture, creativity, community, and strength. New Orleans taught me how to adapt, how to connect with people, and how to keep going even when life changes unexpectedly.
Those early lessons still guide me today. They show up in the way I lead, build relationships, and support business owners who need technology to feel less overwhelming and more aligned with their purpose.
2. From NASA to Business Ownership
Before founding HRichnetworks, I served as an IT Specialist with NASA at Stennis Space Center in Mississippi. That experience gave me a strong foundation in systems, problem-solving, structure, and technology.
My work has never been just about software, websites, or platforms. It has always been about people and purpose. I learned that technology works best when it supports a clear purpose.
3. A New Beginning After Hurricane Katrina
After Hurricane Katrina, my family relocated from Louisiana to Richmond, Virginia. That season brought loss, change, uncertainty, and new beginnings.
It also deepened my faith, strengthened my resilience, and reminded me that sometimes a new chapter begins before we feel ready.
4. The Heart Behind HRichnetworks
HRichnetworks was created to make technology easier for small business owners to understand and use.
Today, HRichnetworks provides custom websites, SEO, digital marketing, automation, CRM support, AI and ChatGPT training, business strategy sessions, and technology consulting.
5. Why I Serve Small Business Owners
I know many business owners are talented, passionate, and gifted, but they often struggle with the technology side of their business.
They know they need a website, better marketing, stronger follow-up, clearer systems, or a better way to use AI, but they do not always know where to begin. That is where I come in.
6. The Birth of WNC Lagniappe
My journey also led me to create WNC Lagniappe, a women-centered networking community focused on connection, collaboration, visibility, encouragement, and empowerment.
Lagniappe means “a little something extra,” and that is exactly what I believe women bring when they gather with purpose, support one another, and make space for each other to be seen, heard, and celebrated.

Everything I have experienced, from New Orleans to NASA, from rebuilding after Katrina to business ownership, has shaped the way I serve today.
