The Story Behind the Founder
My Journey
Each chapter shaped how I lead, serve, solve problems, build relationships, and make technology feel more human.
1. My New Orleans Roots
I was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, a city rich in culture, creativity, community, and strength. New Orleans taught me how to adapt, connect with people, and keep going when life changes unexpectedly.
Those lessons still guide the way I lead, build relationships, and support business owners who need technology to feel less overwhelming and more aligned with their purpose.
2. From NASA to Business Ownership
Before founding HRichnetworks, I served as an IT Specialist with NASA at Stennis Space Center in Mississippi. That experience strengthened my foundation in systems, problem-solving, structure, application development, databases, testing, documentation, and user support.
Technology has never been only about software or platforms. It works best when it supports people and a clear purpose.
3. A New Beginning After Hurricane Katrina
After Hurricane Katrina, my family relocated from Louisiana to Richmond, Virginia. That season brought loss, change, uncertainty, and new beginnings.
It also deepened my faith, strengthened my resilience, and reminded me that a new chapter can begin before we feel ready.
4. The Heart Behind HRichnetworks
HRichnetworks was created to make technology easier for small business owners to understand, choose, and use.
Today, HRichnetworks provides custom websites, SEO, digital marketing, automation, CRM support, AI and ChatGPT training, business strategy sessions, and technology consulting.
5. Why I Serve Small Business Owners
Many business owners are talented, passionate, and gifted, but they struggle with the technology side of the business.
They know they need a website, stronger marketing, better follow-up, clearer systems, or a practical way to use AI, but they do not always know where to begin. That is where I come in.
6. The Birth of WNC Lagniappe
My journey also led me to create WNC Lagniappe, a women-centered networking community focused on connection, collaboration, visibility, encouragement, and empowerment.
Lagniappe means “a little something extra.” It reflects what women bring when they gather with purpose, support one another, and create space for each other to be seen, heard, and celebrated.

Everything I have experienced, from New Orleans to NASA and from rebuilding after Katrina to business ownership, has shaped the way I serve today.
